Inholland Scholarship/grant for non-EU students starting September 2011

When you are a degree seeking student from outside the European Union (EU), you will pay the institutional tuition fee. If you enrol in September 2012, you are eligible for the Inholland scholarship/grant.

Every non EU Inholland degree-seeking student who needs to pay the tuition fee of € 7169 and is completely enrolled by the date of 1 October 2012 will receive a scholarship/grant of € 2600 per year and € 1517 for February intake students. The scholarship/grant is not for exchange students or for Taal & Schakel students.

PLEASE NOTE that there is an extra requirement starting this year.

Extra requirement

Students who have completed an academic year successfully by attaining 60 credits will receive the knowledge grant automatically for the next academic year. When results are not sufficient, the Internationalisation Department in consultation with the programme, shall decide whether or not you will be entitled to the grant again in the next academic year.

The current requirement is according to The Profile Fund Scheme part B, clause 6, 1-5, part of the study guide, chapter 1.3.5, article 28, paragraph 1 and 20.

For 2012 -2013 the procedure will change. The grant will be offered only after you have received sufficient credits.

Transfer of the scholarship:

  • Once you are completely re-enrolled and you handed in your ‘Excellent scholarship’ application form the scholarship will be deducted from your tuition fee.
  • You will receive a confirmation e-mail from the Central Student Administration.
  • Applications handed in after the deadline of 1 April 2012 will not be accepted.
  • When you terminate your enrolment you will receive your scholarship pro rata.

EU and Dutch students are advised to use the Nuffic Grantfinder which allows you to determine if you are eligible for any scholarships/grants/loans from external sources. The DUO website is the keysource of information and all queries regarding grants and loans need to be directed to them.
