M.J.W.T. (Marcel) Nollen

Marcel Nollen (1963) has been a member of the Executive Board of Inholland University of Applied Sciences since 1 March 2012. His responsibilities include finance and business control, real estate and facilities management, HRM, ICT, information policy and information provision, Inholland's holding company, agricultural and economics programmes and administrative account management for the region of Rotterdam, Dordrecht and Delft. 

 Before taking up this post, Mr Nollen was a member of the Executive Board of Albeda College (ROC) in Rotterdam, served as deputy director of Vocational and Adult Education (BVE) at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, and was head of Rail Transport at the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management. Prior to this, Mr Nollen worked for several different consultancies as a management consultant. 

 He also holds a number of other posts:

  • Board member, Rotterdams Centrum voor Theater
  • Member of the Advisory Board, SURF, collaborative ICT organisation for education and research
  • Member of the executive ICT and Working Conditions committees of the Netherlands Association of Universities of Applied Sciences
  • Board member, Zestor, the labour market and training fund for higher professional education
