G.M.C. (Jet) de Ranitz, MA (biography)


On 1 December 2014, Jet de Ranitz (1970) became Chair of the Inholland University of Applied Sciences' Executive Board. Her responsibilities on the Executive Board comprise strategy, administrative and legal matters, communication and reputation management, external representation, representative advisory bodies and Inholland's safety policy.

Prior to taking up office at Inholland, Jet de Ranitz was Chair of the Executive Board of the Amsterdam University of the Arts and Managing Director of the Nederlands Dans Theater dance company in The Hague, and before that, Director of the School of Economics and Management at Tilburg University.

De Ranitz is also involved in a number of additional activities:

  • Acting Chairman at the Praemium Erasmianum Foundation.
  • Chairman Steering Group Human Capital, Amsterdam Economic Board.
  • Chairman of the jury for the Young Talent Award 2015, Top Woman of the Year Foundation ['Stichting Topvrouw van het jaar'].
  • Vice-chairman of the Supervisory Board of Dutch public-service broadcaster NTR, member Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee.
  • Member of the Supervisory Board of Holland Festival, Amsterdam.
  • Member of the Supervisory Board Espria Foundation (healthcare), member Quality & Safety Committee.
  • Member Advisory Board Police Academy.
