Research is carried out by research groups consisting of faculty and other experts and is managed by a ‘lector’ or reader. They carry out research which is directly related to business life. This benefits students, who are involved in these research groups, ensuring them a valuable opportunity to learn about the practicalities of the professional world. These experiences and insights also provide essential input for curriculum development. In this way the research groups directly contribute to developing the competences of future professionals. Research is organised in the following faculties:

  • Faculty of Creative Business
  • Faculty of Health, Sports and Social Work
  • Faculty of Business, Finance and Law
  • Faculty of Education, Learning and Philosophy
  • Faculty of Engineering, Design and Computing
  • Faculty of Agri, Food & Life Sciences
