Business Innovation (ENG) full-time

"Business Innovation is challenging, uncomfortable, different, original, experienced."

Denise van Hemert

BI helped me exercise perseverance, project management skills, soft skills, capability to interpret and understand complicated industries. I know have a double occupational role, both project manager and service coordinator.

"I was looking for a study that would allow me to have a broadly developed education. I was looking for internationality in the environment, an English spoken course, the opportunity to go abroad and a certain creativity.

Business Innovation is challenging, uncomfortable, different, original, experienced. BI is about putting faith in the process.

A challenge, a way to get the best out of yourself. In BI, I saw a dedication I had never seen before. In the first year, during a ‘’Hackathon’’ for Omron and Connexxion, I looked around me, only to see people who were really inspired & having loads of fun while” hacking” away.

Bonding with classmates happened kind of naturally. We got to share real moments and make good friends. The ultimate example of that is a road trip some of my BI friends and I went on through all of Europe, covering over 5.000km in one month, in a 20-year-old Mercedes.

For my internship I ended up having an interview at Tandem Launch. A company in Montreal, Canada, which was far away from my comfort zone. I ended up getting the internship. I had the time of my life there and have learned more than I ever deemed myself able to. In addition, this internship worked as an immense career booster.

During my studies, Spanish was one of my electives which later on allowed me to go to Madrid for a hackathon collaboration.
