Amsterdam boasts a large number of student associations. From extreme sports to art and politics to music - there is plenty to choose from! Joining a society is a great way to meet like-minded people and make new friends.
For international students, there is also the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), an international student organisation. Besides organising social events and workshops, ESN can give you support before and after your arrival. They can also help you to integrate in The Netherlands. ESN currently exists in three Inholland locations: Amsterdam/Diemen, Haarlem and Rotterdam. Find out more about ESN Diemen.
