As revealed during the press conference yesterday, the current Corona measures will be extended until January 14th, and the cabinet is bringing the Christmas holidays for primary schools forward to prevent the number of infections rising. The situation remains the same for higher education. Your education will continue according to your schedule. We continue to ask you to adhere to the basic measures.

Face masks mandatory
It is mandatory to wear a face mask when you walk through the University buildings. We still see people who do not wear a mask in our buildings. We urge you to adhere to the measure.

Request self-tests via zelftestonderwijs.nl
We continue to ask you to take a self-test twice a week before you come to the buildings. The self-tests can also be ordered via zelftestonderwijs.nl. In addition, you can still pick up a free self-test at the University entrance or reception.

Proud of flexibility and resilience
We realize that the new extension of the measures has an impact on your daily life, also with the holidays ahead. We know there are students with children. With the early closing for Christmas of the primary schools, studying is an extra challenge. We also hear stories of students who have to be quarantined, and students who have relatives they are concerned about.

We live in uncertain time. Fortunately, and we are very proud of that, we also see a lot of flexibility and resilience. Hang in there and keep in touch with your fellow students, coach, teachers, councillor or student buddies of the Student Success Center. And for frequently asked questions about corona, go to Knowledge Base on Iris.
