To find out how many students will be studying where exactly in the coming years and to find out how these students want to live, the Ministry of the Interior is conducting a survey. In collaboration with university of applied sciences and universities. If you want to contribute to more and better suited student housing, go to www.wonenalsstudent.nl. You could win great prizes, like Airpods Pro (worth € 400,-).

Why participate?
As a student you are looking for comfortable, affordable and safe housing in the city where you study. This may sound simple but things might turn out to be more difficult than expected. If you want to get your own room in your student city, you are often dealing with waiting times, high rents and (too) small rooms at locations you would actually prefer not to live. The student housing providers are doing something about this. They will be constructing affordable student rooms at locations where you do want to live taking your housing needs into account. In order to facilitate this, they need your input.

What’s happening with the provided answers?
The results of the housing needs survey will be processed along with information from other sources in the Student Housing Report. This report helps us to find out how many students will be living in the various student cities in the upcoming years and especially how they would like to live. This knowledge is used to determine the required number and type of student housing per city and then adjust the building plans for the upcoming years.

How participate?
To participate, you can go to wonenalsstudent.nl. The survey takes about 10 minutes. You can participate until April 23.
