IamStudent (555 votes)
A new country, a foreign language and culture, different education: studying abroad is exciting and fun, but it requires the capacity to adapt, too. This same applies to foreign students in our country. Avi Goldstein, Jason Zureineh and Kieran Litoux are three third-year Tourism Management (TM) students at Inholland Diemen. In their project IamStudent, they came up with the idea of a five-day city trip to ‘immerse’ prospective Inholland students in the Netherlands. Read the interview.

My Personal Coach Aangepast Sporten (337 votes)
Leading an active life is even more important for children who have a disability. That is why Sports Science students Mickey Pijl and Bas de Vries want to help them find a suitable, enjoyable sport. The fourth-year students at Inholland Haarlem have completed the pilot ´My Personal Coach Aangepast Sporten´ (My Personal Disability Sport Coach), which they hope to refine in their own business during their next academic year. GOWIND systems (323 votes)
Nowadays there is a lot of focus on green energy. As fossil fuel supplies are depleting, the need for sustainable energy is greater than ever. Seven students from the Aeronautical Engineering programme at Inholland Delft decided to tackle this problem and developed a vertical wind turbine under the name GOWIND systems to generate energy for offices and apartment buildings. Travel Smart (301 votes)
Lisa Unlandt, Debbie Vermeer, Zubayda Wazir and Naomy Braamkolk, four Communicaton students at Inholland The Hague, had a mission: to bring travel company Travel Smart and their customers together online. And to do that in such a way to prompt potential customers to travel with them. The four students proposed an online passport allowing customers to create their own illustrated travel report. Food Truck (277 votes)
Fourth-year Primary Education students from Inholland Alkmaar drafted a project plan and travelled in a food truck to primary schools to give cooking lessons. The 'Food Truck' project is an initiative of the Kroon van Holland foundation to get kids acquainted with healthy food in a fun way. Read the interview.

Holwerd aan Zee (141 votes, wild card recipient)
Residents and politicians think the Frisian village of Holwerd and its surrounding area could do with an economic and ‘green’ boost. The municipality challenged students to come up with an innovative vision for the future. The plan by Ronald Berk, Nieck Alderliesten and Ruud Hendriks, all three Landscape and Environment Management (LEM) students at Inholland Delft, is extremely ambitious and comprehensive.
