Turkey and Syria earthquake: 'We sympathise with everyone affected'

Turkey and Syria have been hit by a massive earthquake. Many thousands have been killed and injured. "There is a terrible disaster here for everyone affected," said Inholland college board chairman Bart Combee.

“Many people with a Turkish, Kurdish or Syrian background, including some of our students and colleagues, are living in great uncertainty about the impact of the earthquake on their families and personal situation.
