General information

Early or late arrival

Early or late arrival

If you will arrive more than a week after the starting date of your rental contract, you need to notify both Inholland's international office and housing corporation DUWO. If you fail to do so, the room will be allocated to someone else and you will still be charged the first month's rent and administration costs.

Fixed dates
It is not possible to get a reduction for late arrival or early departure. All rental dates are fixed, so it is not possible to end your contract before the end date that is mentioned in your tenancy agreement.

Finding your own room

Finding your own room

In this document you can find our suggestions on how to find a room in Amsterdam.

It is very difficult to find accommodation in Amsterdam/Diemen due to a shortage of student rooms. If you want or need to look for housing on your own, we advise you to start looking at least 3 months before arrival.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Please realize that renting a room through all of these services is your own responsibility, so be aware of fake accounts. Furthermore, never pay deposit or rent until you have received the keys of your accommodation.
