Tuition fees at Inholland University of Applied Sciences

If you’re coming to study at Inholland as an international student, one of the first things to arrange is your tuition fees. The tuition fees at Inholland University of Applied Sciences depend on factors such as your nationality and whether you’ve studied in the Netherlands before. Once you know which amount applies to you, you can pay through Studielink, the official Dutch system for enrolment and tuition fee payments.

Tuition Fees for EU/EEA and Non-EU Students

There are two types of tuition fees at Inholland University of Applied Sciences: statutory and institutional. If you have an EU/EEA, Swiss or Surinamese passport and have not yet completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the Netherlands, you pay the statutory fee. If this is not the case – for example, if you are from outside the EU/EEA – you pay the institutional fee. Check below to see which tuition fee applies to you.

Tuition fees for EU/EEA, Swiss and Surinamese students 2025–2026

The statutory tuition fee for 2025–2026 is €2,601. You pay this fee if:

You have an EU/EEA, Swiss or Surinamese passport

You have not obtained a Dutch bachelor’s or master’s degree after 31 August 1991.

Some other groups also qualify under the Student Finance Act 2000. Check if you meet the nationality requirement at DUO. If you do not meet these conditions, you have to pay the institutional fee.

Institutional Tuition Fee for Non-EU/EEA Students 2025–2026

The institutional tuition fee for 2025–2026 is €9,999. You pay this if you are not from the EU/EEA or do not meet the conditions for the statutory tuition fee. For the 2025–2026 academic year, this also applies to applicants from Ukraine.

Unlike the statutory fee, this fee is not (fully) reimbursed if you deregister. For more information, contact the Central Student Administration.

Tuition fees for EU/EEA, Swiss and Surinamese students 2024–2025

The statutory tuition fee for 2024–2025 is €2,530. You pay this fee if:

You have an EU/EEA, Swiss or Surinamese passport, and

you have not obtained a Dutch bachelor’s or master’s degree after 31 August 1991.

Some other groups also qualify under the Student Finance Act 2000. Check if you meet the nationality requirement at DUO. If you do not meet these conditions, you have to pay the institutional fee.

If you do not meet these conditions, you pay the institutional fee, which for 2024–2025 is €9,732.

How can I pay my tuition fees? 

Your payment method for Inholland University of Applied Sciences depends on whether your bank is in the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA). 

If you live in a SEPA country

If you have a bank account with an IBAN in a SEPA country, you can pay your tuition fees via Studielink, the Dutch enrolment system for higher education. You can choose to pay in instalments or one go. Check the collection dates 2025-2026

Inholland will use your confirmed payment details for future academic years. You can update these details at any time via Studielink. Multi-year authorisation is only available if you have a SEPA bank account.

If you live outside the SEPA area

If your bank account is not in a SEPA country, you must pay your tuition fees by bank transfer in one payment. View the full instructions here

If you are a refugee, you may be eligible for financial support from the UAF (University Assistance Fund). Visit the UAF website to check your eligibility.

Scholarships for international students in the Netherlands

Inholland Knowledge Grant
