Rent a room in The Hague
The furnished accommodation that Inholland offers is only available to first-year degree students. Please be aware that we only will process your housing application after you are completely admitted to Inholland. This means that: 1) your (foreign) diploma must be validated first by the Central Student Administration and 2) if English is not your first language, you will need to provide proof of your English proficiency (this is part of the admission requirements for international students at Inholland). The entire procedure can take a few months.
Fixed renting periods for academic year 2023/2024
Please keep in mind that it is not possible to extend the rental contract after the end-date mentioned above. When signing the tenancy agreement, you commit to paying the rent until the last day of the rental period. It is not possible to cancel the tenancy agreement before the end date.
The online application form for 2023/2024 will be available on Monday 15 May 2023 at 9AM. The deadline to fill out the form is Friday 23 June 2023 at 9AM. During this period, you can apply through the link below.
What happens after my application?
Soon after the deadline, we will offer you a room if available. You will have 2 days to accept the room. Please notice that this is the only offer that you will receive. If you reject the offer, you will not receive another one. Be prepared to take actions when you receive emails and make sure you have the money for the first payment ready.

These 'rooms' are studio apartments: they include a private bathroom and kitchenette. The size of the studio is approximately 20 m2. Each studio is designed for one student. It is therefore not possible to live together with a friend in one studio.
All the studios are fully furnished and self-contained. A bed linen set, and a basic kitchen inventory package will be waiting for you upon arrival. There’s a common room on the ground floor where students can socialize, and there’s also a laundry equipped with washing machines and driers. You can park your bicycle in the locked bike parking area in the building.

The Waldorpstraat apartment building has 3- and 4-room apartments. These are in general single gender apartments. You will have your own bedroom. The kitchen, bathroom and lavatory are shared with two or three other students. All rooms are furnished. These facilities are included in the rent, as well as a bed linen set, kitchenware, gas, water, electricity, heating and *internet.

* Please note that the standard internet is available through a LAN cable. If you want to use the LAN connection on your laptop, make sure you bring your own cable. If you prefer wireless Internet, then you should buy a router.
