Check whether your phone is up to date
The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has warned about several vulnerabilities affecting Android and Samsung phones. Security updates have since been released by manufacturers to address a number of these vulnerabilities. We therefore ask everyone who uses a phone for work or study to check that the latest updates have been installed.
Do you use a phone for your studies? Take a few minutes to check whether your device is fully up to date.
Why is this important?
Your phone may contain personal information, emails, documents, and other data. You may also use it to access Inholland apps and services.
If a phone is not updated, cybercriminals may be able to exploit known security vulnerabilities. This could allow data to be viewed, altered, or made inaccessible. Installing security updates significantly reduces this risk.
By keeping your phone up to date, you help protect not only your own data, but also that of fellow students and Inholland.
No update available yet?
Manufacturers often release updates in phases. If you do not see an update today, please check again later.
