Students Creative Business work on project Watermakers

Three international student groups of Media and Entertainment Management Inholland The Hague have been working on a project called ‘Watermakers’ during the past months. The students have been planning events, exhibitions and social media content to promote the story of Watermakers.

A Bunch of Choices
Watermakers is a project of A Bunch of Choices, which is an organization with a passion for education, young people and events. Its aim is to create as many valuable learning opportunities as possible for both young talents and schools by connecting them to large-scale events. With the finish of the famous ‘around-the-world-sailing’ Volvo Ocean Race in The Hague on June 30, a new possibility has come up to connect young talents from The Hague, event organizer TIG sports, entrepreneurs, suppliers and sponsors to this event.

Watermakers
Under the project Watermakers, A Bunch of Choices and the municipality of The Hague challenge and stimulate the organizer of the finish of the Volvo Ocean Race and all its partners to offer chances to unemployed people from all ages. They work together in recruiting & training unemployed people with the final purpose of matching them with a supplier or partner company of the event.

Role IMEM students
The international students have taken on different tasks to help boost the popularity of Watermakers and make sure it will be a sounding success. Three IMEM project groups work on the project Watermakers: Temper Media, SF Marketing and Atale.

Temper Media is mostly focused on promoting Watermakers on social media, with an accent on creative content and designs on Facebook and Instagram, together with informative ideas and concepts and tips and tricks about finding employment. SF Marketing will be coming up with an animation video and connected personas in the near future, because the students believe interactivity is key in this project.
ATALE has created event concepts meant to connect the unemployed with interested partners, explain the concept and generate an interest towards further endeavors with regards to the project. This month there will be an event for unemployed citizens helping them explore their strengths and qualities and meet Volvo Ocean Race’s stakeholders.

More information about project Watermakers and A bunch of choices can be found on their Facebook page and the website of A Bunch of Choices.
