Your future job

You can develop innovative concepts, are financially skilled and you feel at home in the dynamic travel industry. But not only there. As a professional in tourism, the world awaits you.
A few examples of what your future job might look like:

  • Sustainable travel expert
You compose trips emphasizing on experience and responsible travel. Whilst selecting hotels, means of transport and excursions, you always take the impact on the environment and the local inhabitants into account. You rather pick small, local initiatives, than touristic hotspots and big accommodations.
  • (Online) marketing manager
You are responsible for marketing a product or organisation, often based on a strategy with both online and offline elements. You lead a team that you inspire to work creatively and innovatively. By putting yourself in the customers shoes and keeping an eye out for the latest trends, you always know how to trigger existing and new clients.
  • City marketing expert
You advise a local government about tourism related topics and come up with solutions for complex issues. How do you prevent a popular site from becoming too crowded? How do you spread visitors across a city? And what are the most important things to bear in mind when opening a new attraction? You work as a policy officer, at a city marketing organisation or as a freelance expert.
  • Entrepreneur
You start your own company focussing on exactly that aspect of the tourism industry you find most interesting. You offer custom made trips, specialize yourself in a niche or introduce something completely new – in this dynamic sector you can go anywhere you want. On your own, or with a team of experts.
