If you are ready to deal with unpredictability of the creative industry, Creative Business is cut out for you!
The four-year Creative Business degree teaches you how to play a creative, managing and innovative role in the creative industry worldwide. Find out how the four years are structured:
During the first year and a half, you follow a broad programme that covers the fundamentals of the creative industry. You will learn everything about marketing, research, project management, legal aspects, concept development, entrepreneurship and social media. Together with fellow students from different countries, you will experience what it is like to be a project manager, representative, researcher, producer or concept developer in the industry.
Throughout the programme, we put the emphasis on the practical side of media management. The study programme provides you with a fine balance between theoretical frameworks and hands-on experience. Through projects, company visits, guest lectures and masterclasses, you will learn how to manage a creative production and it gives you the opportunity to interact with leading people in the industry.

The projects will become more complex in the second year. You will be mostly working on assignments supplied by clients from the field. Together with your project group, you will be fully responsible for coordination, communication and client satisfaction.
In your third year, you will go on an internship and you will follow a selection of specialisation minors that match your interest and ambition. This helps you to increase your knowledge in a specific area of the creative industry. It is also possible to follow a minor abroad at one of our partner universities.
You will do a five-month internship at a company of your choice. There you can put into practice what you have learnt so far. Will you choose a commercial or a non-profit company? Do you want to go abroad? The choice is yours. Inholland has an extensive database of companies that offer internships.
In addition to the final theoretical component by taking another set of specialisation minors, you will dedicate a period of approximately five months to your graduation project. You will work on this project independently by writing a report (thesis) about a an actual issue in the creative industry. Examples of assignments are:
