Dance marathon for and by students at Inholland The Hague
Live on SBS6 on Friday, 15 October! Will you join us?
As part of The Dance Marathon (De Dansmarathon), a ‘spectacular 50-hour dance show’ by SBS6 and Talpa, students from the International Creative Business programme will be organising their own mini dance marathon at Inholland The Hague. All students from all locations are invited to take part! The dance event will be broadcast live on SBS6 from 11 am to 2 pm on Friday, 15 October. Just like SBS6, the students are aiming to draw attention to the Lung Foundation Netherlands (Longfonds) by means of their show. It’s also a great way to celebrate the end of the first term of the academic year.
During the spectacular event on SBS6 (between 14 and 16 October), a hundred couples will spend 50 hours dancing to music by well-known DJs and artists. Just one dance duo will win a huge cash prize of 100,000 euros. By means of The Dance Marathon, together with the Vriendenlotterij (the Netherlands' national culture lottery) and various Dutch artists, SBS wishes to draw attention to the Lung Foundation Netherlands, which fights for healthy air and lungs.

This is a great opportunity for Inholland to show the nation how creative our creative business students can be!
Mini dance marathon for and by students
Talpa and SBS6 also invited Creative Business students to take part in the show. A student project team immediately started working to create a spectacular dance event at Inholland The Hague. All students are invited to take part!
As a dance concept, the students came up with the Silent Disco Breakfast Club. A battle between two DJs, both playing on a different channel, who have to gather as many audience members as possible on ‘their’ dance floor. There are also various active dance activities such as ‘technorobics’ and a chair dance.
Why not come along? It all kicks off at 11 am (including the live broadcast), so you will be able to get going then onwards. Sandwiches and drinks will be provided from noon onwards. And from 1 pm, there will also be a limbo competition!
We are 100% behind the Lung Foundation Netherlands, which is why we are organising a dance event for young people to emphasise the importance of a healthy lifestyle and healthy lungs.
