Need to contact the library? From 17 July, use the Self-service Point

From Friday 17 July, we are making it easier for you to contact the library. To help us handle your questions, requests and reports more quickly and efficiently, the Self-service Point (SSP) will become the main contact channel for students and colleagues.

Go directly to the Self-service Point:

From that date, we will no longer use WhatsApp or the library's functional mailboxes. The general mailbox, bibliotheek@inholland.nl, will remain available.

What does this mean for you?

Use the Self-service Point for questions, requests and reports
Do you have a question, request or report? Submit it through the Self-service Point:

This is the fastest option because your request goes straight to the right library colleague.

You can still book an online appointment
Would you like to speak to an information specialist? You can still book an online appointment through Online Appointment.

WhatsApp and functional mailboxes will no longer be available
From 17 July, the library's functional mailboxes will close. If you have saved any of these mailboxes in your favourites or Outlook, you can remove them. WhatsApp will also no longer be available as a contact channel.

Alongside the Self-service Point, the general mailbox bibliotheek@inholland.nl will remain available.

Why are we making this change?
By submitting your questions, requests and reports through the Self-service Point:

  • your question reaches the right library colleague straight away;
  • you can track the progress of your request yourself;
  • all communication stays organised in one place;
  • we can support you more quickly and consistently.
