Your vote counts – fill in the Student Wellbeing Monitor now!
How are you doing as a student at Inholland University of Applied Sciences? When do you feel at home and when do you not? With the Student Well-being Monitor (SWM) you get the space to share that. Your experience helps us to better align education and support with what you need. On Monday 4 May, you will receive an e-mail with an invitation to complete the questionnaire. You have until May 19 to complete it. Will you join us? Make your voice heard
The SWM is an annual questionnaire of the Study Success research group. This allows us to map out how students are doing: how you feel, how involved you are and what helps you to study successfully. But more importantly: your voice counts.
What your input can change
The impact of the monitor is visible. In the Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy Techniques programme, students indicated a need for more rest, structure and guidance. Based on these insights, targeted improvements were implemented, such as calmer landing weeks, a more predictable curriculum and more attention to guidance, social safety and personal development. This approach led to less study stress and a clear increase in transfer: from 68.2 % in 2023–2024 to 87.3 % in 2024–2025.
Participating in the Student Well-being Monitor means that I can contribute to better mental health for students. As a final-year student, I see in myself and my fellow students how social and performance pressure have an influence. It is extremely important to acknowledge problems so that everyone can feel comfortable in his or her own skin. By participating in the SWM, I hope to be able to contribute to this. In this way, we build better student well-being together.
Finding the right support faster
The monitor and conversations with students also showed that it is not always clear where you can go for support. That is why, together with staff and students, we improved the overview of support at Inholland with the Support Network Guide. On the Student Support page on Iris, you will now find personalized signposts per location. These show at a glance:
which support staff are available at your location;
how and where to ask your question;
which steps you can go through for different questions.
This way you can find the right support faster, whether you have a practical question, something is bothering you or just want to talk to someone.
Your experience as a student gives direction to research and to better student well-being.
What's in it for you?
By completing the monitor:
you help to improve education and support
you contribute to a better study climate for yourself and others
receive your personal tips and tools
Have a chance to win great prizes
And perhaps most importantly: you show what is going on, what deserves attention and what can be improved.
How to participate
On 4 May 2026, you will receive an email with a link to the Student Wellbeing Monitor. You have until May 19 to complete the questionnaire. Completing it takes about 10 minutes.
