VMAT Treatment Planning (hybrid module)

Acquire comprehensive knowledge and skills in the field of Treatment Planning (TP)

During this six-month module, the participant will acquire comprehensive knowledge and skills in the field of Treatment Planning (TP) for Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), and Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy (SABR).

Interactive teaching sessions, focused on situations encountered in clinical practice, are an important component of the module.

New Master's program Medical Imaging / Radiation Oncology (MIRO)

The VMAT Treatment Planning module will be part of the new HBO Master's program Medical Imaging / Radiation Oncology (MIRO) of Inholland University of Applied Sciences from February 2026. This two-year part-time Master's program trains (future) Advanced Practitioners in medical imaging and radiotherapy. The content and expertise of this module are secured in one of the six MIRO graduation profiles. This means that the program is in line with the increasing complexity of the field, current task shifts and the need for academically trained MBBs.
