We all see the benefits of the internationalisation of higher education and its potential to achieve sustainable development. Frequently asked questions about the EAIE

How does Inholland give shape to internationalisation?

We have established close partnerships with organisations worldwide. For example:
  • Exchange programmes: Each year, Inholland University of Applied Sciences welcomes about 360 exchange students from partner universities around the world to study at Inholland, and about the same number of Inholland students spend an exchange semester abroad.
  • Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs): We stimulate the development and organisation of Erasmus+ blended Intensive Programmes that foster inclusivity and innovation in education. In the academic year 2022-23, we organised five programmes at Inholland and participated in nine BIPs outside the Netherlands. For example, the Faculty of Business, Finance & Law organised the BIPs  Sustainable Fashion, Changing Cities and Sustainable Banking and Finance.
  • Collaborative Online International Learning Projects (COILs): virtual projects where Dutch and international students can cooperate without travelling.
  • Internationalisation@home: We offer internationalised curricula and education in international classrooms. We invite guest speakers from abroad and organise international teaching and training weeks.
  • Engagement and well-being of our International Student Communities: we offer many support activities for our international students.
