Sustainable Media Lab The Hague, studying in an living lab environment
Curious about what is happening within our faculty? In four new episodes of Creative Business on Tour, colleagues and students take you on a tour through our faculty. Some places and initiatives you may know, others will be completely new to you. Hopefully this video series will give you an overview and information, but above all: inspiration!
Until the summer we publish a video every two weeks. In this second episode, we show you what studying in an living lab environment entails. What makes it “different” from studying in a “regular” educational environment? To let you experience this, we will visit the Sustainable Media Lab in The Hague. That lab is one of six (!) urban living labs within our faculty. In these labs, various stakeholders (education, research, professional field partners and other stakeholders) work together on social issues in the urban areas where our faculty educates students.

In the first episode we took you to Schiphol to experience how we work with flexible learning routes. Episode 3 focuses on the supporting processes and student participation. In the final episode, we check the state of student welfare.
