Lies-Anne Kramer (24) is a Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy Technologist (MBRT) graduate and owner of Ydona B.V., the distributor of TensCare in the Netherlands and Belgium. With her background, she combines her technical knowledge with entrepreneurship.

Born and raised to be an entrepreneur
'I come from an entrepreneurial family. Entrepreneurship is something I was brought up on. That's how I picked up all kinds of things besides my studies to keep learning. For example, I participated in the Start Up program and Personal Branding at Start Up Campus Haarlem. I was also active in the local city council during my studies. And I participated in training at the political learning school JOVD. Unfortunately, the day only has 24 hours, and I can't combine it with my business anymore. But who knows, maybe I'll pick it up again in the future. I love developing myself and trying new things. I always want to get the most out of it!'

Now I know better who I am
‘At Start Up Campus Haarlem, I learned a lot about myself. Not only did it help in my business decisions, but also in building my brand and boosting my self-confidence. Now, I know better who I am and what I want to achieve, both in my business and in personal development. Moreover, I am still learning a little more about myself every day. As an entrepreneur, you regularly face challenges that you cannot imagine in advance. That sometimes makes it difficult, but at the same time, it is incredibly fun. Every new challenge is an opportunity to grow, professionally and personally.’

Don't be afraid, just do it!
'When I saw the poster in school for SUCH, I thought, 'Oh, I'm just going to do that!' I thought it was exciting because I didn't know anyone. But in the end, I am very happy that I did it. There is a nice atmosphere and nice people who all want the same thing. I would say to everyone, 'Don't be afraid, just do it!' Even if you don't have an idea for a business yet, it's really nice to do a program like that. Back then, I went to the training at SUCH, I didn't have an idea for a business yet. And now look, I've been in business for almost a year!'
