New Moodle environment for Moodle users introduced in late January

As of 31 January, the old Moodle will be replaced by a visually appealing, faster, more stable and more user-friendly Moodle environment. The environment will thus look somewhat different and offer new functionalities the next time you visit Moodle.

All degree programmes currently using Moodle will transition to the new OpenEdu environment in late January. The new system is both user-friendly and intuitive. Users will be able to share and manage teaching materials. The system also allows users to efficiently organise peer feedback and add formative tests, while facilitating interaction between students and lecturers.

All programme information and course materials in the current Moodle environment will be transferred to the new system. All degree programme departments have appointed ambassadors to help users navigate the new system and provide training courses where necessary. The names of these ambassadors will be announced in January. Please feel free to contact them with any questions you may have. Support will be provided at all locations used by Moodle users during and in the days after the launch. You can contact the servicedesks and there is a Moodle email address in order to answer any questions you may have and provide support where necessary. All information is available via LMS Moodle Support.
