Project DragonFly : state of business

Working on the first Dutch-built electric and emission free aircraft, that is what students and colleagues at Inholland in Delft are working hard on. Now more then a year later, the developments are ongoing.

It seems straight forward, but actually is quite challenging due to the new technologies which are applied. In this video six interns and graduation students explain how they performed applied research for project DragonFly. Topics like aerodynamics, performance calculations, systems simulation and propeller design are covered which are extremely important to make the first flight a success.

In this project we collaborate with industry partners who assist the students, but at the same time need this development for their own business. The Netherlands has an ambitious agenda when it comes to climate goals and we really need each other in order to accelerate the transition towards sustainable aviation.
