Reduce stress and plan better? It can be done with Caring Universities!

Use its free online programmes to work on your own well-being!

Did you know that Inholland is affiliated with Caring Universities? This is part of Inholland’s range of support services. As a student, you have many different things to deal with. After all, being a student involves much more than just studying. Caring Universities aims to increase the mental well-being of students in the Netherlands. As an Inholland student, you can use the nine different online programmes for free.

These programmes have been developed based on research and are continuously improved. Read more on Iris and get a sneak preview of the two latest programmes:

SociaLife: strengthening social relationships
During the pandemic, many young people struggled with feelings of loneliness, and its effects are still felt today. Students spent much of term behind a computer screen, at a stage in life when social bonding is so important for overall well-being. With this programme, you can learn to form new friendships faster, deepen existing ones and solve any problems in your social life.

GoodEnough: away with perfectionism
Many students experience high levels of pressure to perform. A little pressure can actually help you complete your tasks on time, but when you experience too much pressure, it can lead to procrastination. This programme looks at different aspects of perfectionism and pressure to perform and teaches you how to deal with them, for example through time management, dealing with expectations of others and increasing self-compassion.
