Vegan and sustainable alternative to dairy milk in coffee machines

havermelkmachine

By popular request, some coffee machines have been adapted over the summer holidays to offer an alternative to dairy milk that is both vegan and more sustainable.

Almost one out of every three machines now offer cappuccino and milk chocolate drinks made with oat milk, a 100 percent vegetable and therefore vegan product that is also suitable for those who are lactose or gluten intolerant.

Additionally, the fact that oat milk production generates roughly 30 percent less CO2 than dairy milk production makes it highly sustainable. Moreover, oat milk is more sustainable than alternatives such as soy milk and almond milk due to the transport costs and production methods involved.

By adapting a large part of our coffee machines, we are helping you make a positive impact on the environment!

You can try the new drinks from the green and yellow coffeemachines.

They're already there! In The Hague, they are in the restaurant, on the 2nd in the rear building section and on the 3rd near the lift.
