Op 5 mei Is Inholland Den Haag samen met andere hoger onderwijsinstellingen en studentenverenigingen aanwezig op het Haagse Bevrijdingsfestival.
In Den Haag, de stad van vrede en recht, weten we hoe belangrijk vrijheid is. Vrijheid – waaronder de vrijheid om te studeren – is niet overal vanzelfsprekend. Om bij onze vrijheid stil te staan, organiseert studentenstad Den Haag op 5 mei voor de tweede keer de HI The Hague Student Experience op het Bevrijdingsfestival.
HI The Hague Student Experience
De ‘Hi The Hague Student Experience’ is speciaal voor bezoekers die de sfeer van Den Haag studentenstad willen proeven. Je kunt hier studenten ontmoeten van hogescholen en universiteiten, dansen op hippe tracks van student dj’s die hebben meegedaan aan de Haagse dj-contest en deelnemen aan leuke sport- en spelactiviteiten van studenten.
Deelname Inholland
Meerdere Inholland-studenten werken samen voor het Bevrijdingsfestival. Creative Business studenten hebben vanuit de organisator van het festival de opdracht gekregen om te onderzoeken hoe ze de boodschap van 5 mei goed kunnen overbrengen bij jongeren. Daarnaast hebben studenten van het Studentsucces Centrum spelactiviteiten bedacht waaraan bezoekers op 5 mei kunnen deelnemen. Het Inholland rad van fortuin bepaalt welk spel je speelt. Draait aan het rad, speel mee en win leuke prijzen.

Optreden ICB-student Florian Wessiepe
De winnaar van de Haagse dj-contest 2023 is onze eigen ICB-student Florian Wessiepe. Hij mag als beste student dj om 19.00 uur draaien op het hoofdpodium van het Bevrijdingsfestival. Kom je hem ook aanmoedigen?
Openingstijden Bevrijdingsfestival en aftermovie 2022
De Hi The Hague Student Experience is open van 12.00 - 20.00 uur en kun je direct links naast de ingang van het Bevrijdingsfestival vinden.
Het Bevrijdingsfestival op het Malieveld opent om 12.00 uur en sluit om 23.00 uur. Bekijk hier hoe tof het festival vorig jaar was, gefilmd door onze student Mikki Toirkens.
Liberation Festival in The Hague
On 5 May 2023, Inholland The Hague is present at the Liberation Festival, together with other educational institutes and student associations.
The Hague, city of peace and justice, knows the importance of freedom. Freedom – including the freedom of education – is not obvious everywhere. Therefore, student city The Hague gets together on 5 May at the ‘HI The Hague Student Experience’ to celebrate our freedom.
HI The Hague Student Experience
The ‘Hi The Hague Student Experience’ is created for all visitors who want to taste the atmosphere of The Hague as a student city. You can dance the whole day to music performed by student DJs who participated in the DJ contest. And you can participate in all kinds of fun sports and game activities planned by the students of The Hague.
Participation Inholland
Multiple Inholland students collaborate for the Liberation Festival. International Creative Business students work on an assignment to explore how to properly communicate the message of 5 May to young people. Students of our Student Success Centre came up with different game activities for the Student Experience area. The Inholland Wheel of Fortune decides what game you will play. You spin the wheel, participate in the game and win a fun prize.

Opening hours of the festival
The ‘HI The Hague Student Experience’ is located directly to the left of the entrance of the Liberation Festival and is open from 12:00-20:00. The festival site itself opens at 12:00 until 23:00.
