What happens when you design a mentoring program not before, but with students? In the Oral Health Care program, students and faculty jointly developed a mentoring program for first-year students. Students not only contributed ideas but also worked as co-designers on concrete products such as the mentor handbook, training, and recruitment approach. “At one point, I did think: what we’re coming up with now, other students are actually going to do later.”
