Samenvatting
In their relatively short existence, the Expertisenetwork Systemic Co-design (ESC) (ESC) puts these aspirations into practice. As an adventurous and open-ended escapade, ESC is building a community of engaged people around shared challenges, who learn together, create new social narratives, develop capacities, and trigger cultural and organisational transitions. Their playfully labelled ESCapades, ESCalators, ESConferences, ESCollabs, ESCuela, and ESCalls radiate a vibrant energy that feel like inviting, warm and safe playgrounds for exploration. As was, for example, the case with the ESConference in 2024 were. This inspiring ESCollab book is the second volume within the triology of ESC books (the first volume was called ESCall: ESC & practice). It beautifully describes the accrescent living meshwork of practices, actors, examplars, insights, prototypes, methods, canvases, toolkits, events, workshops, etc., that are developed in the co-funded research projects linking the universities of applied sciences with practice partners and academic institutions.
