What can you do with a bachelor's in IT?

There are many job vacancies in IT, and the number is only expected to rise in the coming years. As a result, it is usually not difficult to find a job with a degree in Computer Science. In fact, most of our students already have a suitable job in place when they graduate.

After graduating with a Bachelor's in Information Technology, you could work in one of the following positions:

Front-end developer
A front-end developer is primarily responsible for the client-side development of a website or web application. They collaborate closely with designers to ensure that the website is visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly.

Back-end developer
A back-end developer focuses on the server-side development of a website or web application. They handle the behind-the-scenes functionality that powers the website and manages data.

Full-stack developer
A full-stack developer is proficient in both front-end and back-end development, covering the entire stack of technologies used in web development. They have the skills and knowledge to work on both the client-side and server-side aspects of a project. Full-stack developers can handle the entire development process from designing the user interface to implementing server-side functionality.

Cloud Engineer
A cloud engineer is an IT professional responsible for any technological duties associated with cloud computing, including design, planning, management, maintenance and support.

UX Designer
User interface designers are responsible for the layout and design of an application. They ensure that a website looks great, is clear and user-friendly. To achieve this, UI designers must have a feeling for design as well as technical insight. They are champions at translating the wishes and requirements of the client into a usable application.

Data & AI engineer
An AI engineer develops AI models using machine learning algorithms and deep learning neural networks to draw business insights and create new AI enabled products & services.

Security specialist
Security specialists are responsible for the security measures for computer networks and servers. They write security plans, advise on the build and design of information systems and set the specifications for security systems.
