Building the Centre for Teaching and Learning with a student on board

What happens when you build a new centre for educational innovation with a student at the table? In developing the Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL), a student worked as a full member of the core team. Drawing on her own expertise and student perspective, she contributed to communication, visibility and collaboration. This case shows how equality and shared ownership can become self evident, while also highlighting the importance of clear agreements and timing to make partnerships sustainable.
